Enjoy a scenic ride on your bike to Lang Pioneer Village Museum on the new Lang Hastings Trail.
Step back in time to discover how the pioneers lived in the rural area of Peterborough County. Nestled along the banks of the historic Indian River, Lang Pioneer Village Museum features over twenty-five restored and furnished buildings constructed in the 1800’s. Villagers dressed in authentic historical costume, go about their daily chores contributing to the authenticity of this living history experience. For the photographer in your family the Village is complete with lanes and pathways, farm animals, rail and stump fences, vegetable and herb gardens, as well as other authentic details of a 19th-century hamlet.
A delicious heritage lunch consisting of a garden salad, a sandwich made on homemade bread, a fruit and dessert will be served at the peaceful picnic area.

A bike in good working condition and helmets are required on all rides.
